Proposal Title: Mapping a Freezing Cold Cloud (Brrrrrrrr!): A Request for Reconsideration
ABSTRACT:
In the previous proposal cycle we submitted a request for time to map the coldest HI cloud known. Owing to
negative referee comments we will probably not receive time for this project. We believe that the referee
comments are too severe and request reconsideration. The cloud's temperature ranges down to 17 K. Mapping
will allow us to determine important physical characteristics, including fundamental information about grain
heating in the interstellar medium.
