Dear Tapasi,
thanks all of yo ufor keepign me informed on things.

i do not know about alfa, i am very interested but i do feel like for the
pulsar people i am simply a long forgoten someone, anyhow,
i will try to put in a 10gh proposal
for the moment i am trying on my free time to complete a review article
onpulsar high frequency emission for the greek astronomical society

i am not sure we are going to crete for the conference, it is simply
too expensive for us, i have one 3000 grant and that's it, i can not
spend it on tickets, i safeguard it in case i publish anything

this summer is going to be very busy for me since mid july i am upgrading
the system yet once more and i anticipate sleepless nights. but
we will try to go to crete in late september when tickets are more approachable
to what we can afford

Next week we are going abck to the ophalmologist. We are not sure that
things are fine. While the first 4 weeks i could see the difference
(his eye was not tearing) now it is (not what it was but close).
This time they would have to put permanet artificial tubes which should be
changed every five years or so. but lets see what the expert has to say.

Mickey is a blessing from above like all kids of this wrold are.
He is now communicating, in both languges we think.
He points with his little finger when he wants something and says
"dis dis dis", then if i do not want to pay attention because he is
usually up to no good, he says "touto touto touto" (in greek this this this)
and if i do not respond he screams "Mom you do not understand English
but Greek either???"
He says with a very British accent "caa caa" and he is pointing at the
cars as we come to work every day. He says mam mam when he is hungry
"baby greek talk for food" and he knows to go to the bathroom
flash the toilet and ....wave and say bye bye...This is probably the
funiest of all.
The other day he gave a bite again and PINCHED if you please two girls
at day care. He also gave me a bite on my shoulder and i put him down
very upset. He cried for a while, then stood up, extended his hands
forward and downwards and said "No NO No No NO???" he was asking me
"what did i do wrong???"

he is lots of fun, but hard to discipline like all 14month olds.
God love them all, they are the reason to live these days, to keep
them safe and protect them, guide them through life.

If you fly out of Washington to India please arrange it so that
you can stay here for a while, our hose is always open, no need
to repeat this. And there are lots of dogs to play with.

with lots of love
kiriaki
