Description: Beryl was a research assistant at the Commonwealth Observatory from 1947 to 1952. She worked with Simonov and Gottlieb on Eclipsing Binaries, with Woolley and Gascoigne on the Spectral Atlas of the Sun and Sirius, and with Hogg on some of the pioneer photoelectric photometry of southern stars.
