Welcome

I am an ARC Australian Research Fellow in the Australian National University's Research School of Astronomy & Astrophysics, based at Mount Stromlo Observatory in Canberra.

My research interests are mainly focused on trying to understand the formation and
evolution of galaxies in a cosmological context, through detailed study of the ages,
chemical compositions, and motions of the stellar populations found in nearby systems.

To achieve this I use data from the world's foremost astronomical facilities, including
the Keck telescopes, the Very Large Telescope, Gemini North and South, and the
Hubble Space Telescope.
