The SOHO/EIT (171 A) image of April 28, 1998 with a complex system of the chains forming an extensive oval structure 1-2-3-4-5-6-7 on the visible disk. Two (maybe even three) straight chains, located quasi-parallel to the solar equator between points 3 and 6, are also present.
