The Integration Acceptance : meeting during which the Integration phase is assessed and objectives defined during the Integration Kick-Off are checked.

WHEN : typically 3 weeks before the official deadline , i.e. date by which the new DFS release has to be operational on the mountain.

WHAT :

Determine if the coverage of performed tests is adequate :

complete list of performed tests. Special attention is given on robustness tests.
list of tests which were expected, but were NOT performed, and corresponding justification.

Check all test results :

description of the new bugs raised during this Integration phase. Minor bugs which were not reported to developers during the Integration phase must be reviewed here to verify that the priority has been correctly set.
description of previous bugs which can be considered as fixed by the current release.
description of new change requests originated during this Integration phase.
list of all critical or serious bugs to be fixed before the departure to the mountain.
list of all critical or serious change requests to be implemented before the departure to the mountain.
test means used / test means expected.

Analyze the documentation to be delivered to the mountain (new version of the User's Manual, Intallation guide, ...) : comments from SEG testers or from the QA manager.

Review the complete list of testcases to be re-run on the mountain during the Installation phase (extracted from the current testcases definition).

WHY : check that the integration protocol defined between DFS projects and SEG has been applied.

HOW: Integration Acceptance meeting at DFS level with:

the DFS group Head.
all relevant project managers.
the Quality Assurance manager.
the SEG testers.

If needed, specific Integration acceptance meetings at DFS project level and SCCB meetings may be organized to prepare this Integration acceptance meeting.

Before this meeting,
the SEG testers and the QA manager will prepare a document describing :
a summary of the performed tests : how many testcases effectiveley performed / expected testcases.
list of features / functionalities / performance requirements which are NOT fulfilled.
list of new bugs or new change requests raised during this Integration phase.
list of previous bugs which can be considered as fixed.
list of testcases to be re-run on the mountain.

The QA manager will prepare :
a count of critical, serious and minor bugs (same for change requests) raised during the Integration phase.

The current Commissioning Plan will be updated after this meeting (usually by the QA manager).

It is strongly recommended that each participant prepares the Integration Kick0off meeting before going to it, in order to save time.
