INTELSAT 18 SC processing (Malaysia).

September 4, 2011

US filling with high-boiling propellant components and compressed gases.

September 14-20, 2011

INTELSAT 18 SC filling with propellant components and compressed gases.

September 17-24, 2011

Assembly and nominal processing of Ascent Unit ?5L.

September 11-25, 2011

Nominal prelaunch processing of launch vehicle Zenit-2S ?5L within the Zenit-3SLB ILV.

September 26 - October 1, 2011

Assembly and nominal prelaunch processing of the Zenit-3SLB ILV.

October 1, 2011

State Committee accepted a decision on the Zenit-3SLB ILV roll-out to LC for ILV further processing for the INTELSAT 18 SC launch.

October 2, 2011

1st launch day. ILV transfer to transporter-erector. ILV transportation to the Launch Complex. ILV installation on LD. Start of ILV nominal prelaunch processing.

October 3, 2011

2nd launch day. Critical launch readiness checklist (CLRC). CLRC-mode analysis.

October 4-5, 2011

3rd launch day. Meeting of the State Committee (launch readiness review with Customer participation). Launch is postponed to October 6, 2011 due to unavailability of Intelsat-18 spacecraft. SC failure analysis. Obtaining a permission to launch Intelsat-18 spacecraft from Orbital.

October 5-6, 2011

3rd launch day. Meeting of the State Committee (launch readiness review with Customer participation). LC preparation for prelaunch processing. On October 5 at 20:00 Moscow time (16:00 UTC) PLP mode began. On October 6, 2011 at 01:00 Moscow time (on October 5, 2011 at 21:00 UTC) the launch of the Zenit-3SLB ILV with the Intelsat 18 spacecraft was performed.
