Experiment BAR
Objective:
Development of a procedure to detect the signs of air leakage from ISS modules.
Tasks:
Development of methods for detecting physical signs of the ISS loss of pressure integrity.
Science Hardware Used:
BAR scientific equipment consisting of:
- Remote infrared thermometer Kelvin-video;
- Thermohygrometer Iva-6A;
- Heat-loss anemometer/thermometer TTM-2;
- Ultrasound analyzer AU-01;
- Leak detector UT2-03.
Consumables:
Expeсted Results:
Obtaining background conditions determining the existence of leaks
in the working compartments of the space station, which will help
to increase the space flight safety.
Experiment Results:
Returned to Earth is BAR-RM kit with the record of the background
characteristics database.
