NewsLV Soyuz general integration is completedMarch 28, 2016Today, on March 28 the following was successfully completed at the Baikonur Cosmodrome: general assembly of rocket-space complex within the Progress MS-02 cargo transport vehicle (CTV) of a new modification and the Soyuz 2.1 launch vehicle. The nose assembly with the first cargo vehicle of new series MC developed and produced by RSC Energia is mated to the third stage of the launch vehicle at the assembly & testing facilities in the scope of prelaunch processing under the International Space Station Program. The decision on the launch vehicle roll-out and installation at the launch site will be accepted today, at the meetings of Technical Management and the state commission after making reports on readiness of all components. The launch of the Soyuz-2.1 launch vehicle with the Progress MS-02 CTV is scheduled on March 31 from site No. 31 of the Baikonur Cosmodrome.
