Korolev Rocket and Space Corporation Energia under the program of shooting footage for a new feature film The Chief Designer dedicated to the work of the Chief Designer of rocket and space systems, academician S.P. Korolev - the farther of space flight and the founder of the company.

Transport Cargo Vehicle Progress M-19M docked to the International Space Station
Russian logistics spacecraft Progress M-19M, after two days in free flight, docked with the International Space Station (ISS).
Approach to the space station, its fly-around, stationkeeping and docking were performed in the backup automatic mode without using in the control loop the Kurs rendezvous system antenna that had failed to deploy. The initial contact with the docking port on the instrumentation and propulsion compartment of the Zvezda Service Module of the ISS Russian Segment occurred at 16:25:27 Moscow Time.

Automatic Cargo Vehicle Progress M-19M is flying to the ISS
Russian logistics spacecraft Progress M-19M, after having been inserted into a parking orbit on April 24, continues its free flight towards the International Space Station (ISS).
The onboard systems of the spacecraft operate normally, ensuring successful execution of the mission plan for the distant portion of the autonomous rendezvous with the ISS, including maneuvers to bring the spacecraft into its designated aiming point relative to the space station, which is the starting point for proximity operations.

Automatic Cargo Vehicle Progress M-19M is flying to the ISS
At 14:12:16 Moscow Time an automatic transport cargo vehicle Progress M-19M was launched from the Baikonur Launch Site.
The purpose of the launch is to support further in-orbit operation of the International Space Station in accordance with the Russian commitments under the project.

Soyuz-U launch vehicle was rolled out from the integration building to the launch pad. Soyuz-U launch vehicle with Progress M-19M transport vehicle is installed on the launch pad.

Shooting some scenes from a new feature film about S.P. Korolev took place at RSC Energia
Cycle of shooting operations to create a new feature film entitled "General Designer" devoted to the activities of academician S.P. Korolev, General Designer of rocket-space systems and the founder of practical cosmonautics and this enterprise, has been completed at S.P. Korolev Rocket Space Corporation Energia.
The film covers the period from 1947 till 1965 when under Sergei Pavlovich's direction the first national long-range ballistic missiles were built; the groundwork for the national rocket-nuclear shield was laid; activities had been conducted resulting in start of space age for mankind and era of human space flights. The film director, script writer, producer is famous man of cinematic art Yu.V. Kara.

Lopota told the journalists the information about significance of the remarkable date of April 12, 1961, its importance for humanity; the history of building national ballistic missiles and the rocket-nuclear shield base; rise and development of the national cosmonautics at the Corporation Center for Technologies Development and Personnel Training. He familiarized the journalists with the manufactured models of rocket and space technology and the technologies available in the Center, as well as with the core activities under the promising projects of the XXI century.

During the period of April 2 through 4 RSC Energia specialists got Russian cosmonauts O. Kononenko, Y. Lonchakov, A. Ovchinin, A. Shkaplerov, O. Artemiev, A. Samokutiyaev, A. Skvortsov, Y. Serova, O. Kotov, S. Ryazansky, M. Suraev and M. Tyurin familiarized with с the design and interiors of the Multipurpose Laboratory Module "Nauka" ("Science"), which is being processed at the company in accordance with the schedule of factory checkout tests.
