STATIC EIT IMAGES GALLERY

Here are the images reconstructed using our Static EIT Reconstruction Server. You can add your images to the gallery. This is possible after data file uploading and image reconstruction.

Object: thorax
Data type: POLAR, 16 electrodes
Contributed by: A. Korjenevsky

This is static EIT image of healthy male thorax. The spine is on the top, left side is on the right. Two dark areas on the left and on the right are lungs (bronchial trees mainly). Light area on the right and below center is heart, dark spot on the top is spinal bone with surrounding fatty tissues, dark gray spot on the bottom is the chest bone. The measurement was carried out with the Moscow "TE-1" system.

Object: thorax
Data type: DIPOLE, 16 electrodes
Contributed by: A. Korjenevsky

This is static EIT image of another male thorax. Unlike previous image it is obtained with dipole current injection and slightly shifted position of electrodes. The same anatomical structures are visible. The measurement was carried out with the Moscow first generation EIT system.

Object: newborn's thorax
Data type: POLAR, 16 electrodes
Contributed by: A. Karpov
This and next images represent the newborn's breathing. The first image corresponds to inspiration. The spine is at the left and the left side is at the top. Two lungs are dark spots below and above center. The white spot between them is heart.

Object: newborn's thorax
Data type: POLAR, 16 electrodes
Contributed by: A. Karpov
This image is from the same real-time data set as previous and corresponds to expiration. The measurement was carried out with the Moscow "TE-1" system.

Object: lower part of leg
Data type: TRUEDIP, 16 electrodes
Contributed by: E. Kostromina

This is static EIT image of the left crus (lower part of the leg) obtained with dipole current injection and true dipole reconstruction  algorithm (TRUEDIP keyword in the data file). The shinbone and fibula are visible clearly as low conductive areas. Small light gray area near the center can be identified as artery, large light areas are muscles.  The measurement was carried out with the Moscow first generation EIT system.

Object: head
Data type: POLAR, 16 electrodes
Contributed by: J Carlos Murrieta, UMIST

This image is from preliminary EIT measurements to detect brain activity. A visual evoked response was used as stimuli of the brain on a 16 electrodes array. Electrode 1 was placed on the front of the head and electrode 9 on the visual cortex (back). The measurements was obtained using an adapted commercial EIT system (ITS1000).

Object: thorax
Data type: DIPOLE, 16 electrodes
Contributed by: J. Zhang, University of Minnesota

This is static EIT image of healthy male thorax. The spine is on the top, left side is on the right. Two dark areas on the left and on the right are lungs. Light area on the right and below center is heart, dark gray spot on the bottom is the chest bone. The measurement was carried out with the Sheffield system DAS01P-01.

This is the place for your contribution. You can go into the image adding procedure immediately after the image reconstruction from your data file.
