Role Overview: CSIRO Astronomy & Space Science (CASS) invites applications for an enthusiastic and skilled Postdoctoral Fellow to work on current and future extragalactic HI surveys. The research position is located at the CASS headquarters in Sydney, Australia. You will be part of our vibrant Astrophysics Group, supplemented by co-
supervised students and visiting researchers. With the Australian SKA Pathfinder (ASKAP) project progressing well, this is an exciting time to be at the National Facility and play a key role in the extragalactic HI Survey, `WALLABY'. This is a three-
year appointment and comes with a generous discretionary research allowance. To be eligible you must have been awarded your PhD no more than three years ago or submitted your PhD prior to commencing.

Requisite Owing to the terms of the fellowship, candidates must not have more than 3 years relevant Post-
Doctoral experience. Essential Criteria: 1. You must have completed, or will shortly complete, a PhD in astrophysics or a closely related discipline, and must have submitted the PhD thesis prior to commencing. 2. Research interests and expertise in radio astronomy or a closely related area 3. Ability to contribute new ideas and expertise to CASS 4. Evidence of programming skills in higher level languages (eg Python, C) 5. Competitive track record of achievement (relative to opportunity) such as publications and conference presentations. Please ensure that your application contains a list of publications and approximately 3 page research proposal. Desirable Criteria: 1. A current research project aligned with the HI survey work (as conducted by B. Koribalski) 2.
