Miriad binary installations are now available for PowerPC and Intel
Macs, linux, etc. or you can build from source code with a
configure/make type system.
Distribution tar files can be downloaded from
ftp://ftp.atnf.csiro.au/pub/software/miriad/
There have been several successful binary installations on Intel Macs
to date but as you are still effectively beta testers I would like to
receive feedback on your experiences.
The installation instructions have been fully revised but please note
that the ATNF Miriad homepage is out-of-date and is currently being
updated to reflect the new arrangements.
