Hi everyone,

Let me send this again...

Andrew

attached mail follows:

Hello everyone,

Happy news! (In case you haven't heard.) Rachel tells me
that we have $15k from MNRFIC to spend on o/seas visitors
for the workshop. (Can someone confirm with Sue Little?)

We should send a note immediately to the poeple who
expressed an interest to tell them funds are now
available. Should we (i) quote a maximum amount assuming
(say) a max. of 5 visitors? or (ii) say "airfare and
possibly some accomodation expenses", or (iii) something
else? (So as not to promise more than we can afford -
but at the same time be as generous as we can
to entice them.)

Here is a draft - feel free to change it AYSF.

Cheers,
Andrew

Dear XXX,

I am happy to say that we have secured travel funding
for the "Millimeter Science with the Upgraded AT"
workshop.

We will be in a position to cover your expenses
(airfare and accommodation) up to a maximum of
approximately AUD 2500-3000 (USD 1250-1500).
A final figure will be available shortly.

Looking forward to seeing you in November!

XYZ
(on behalf of SOC)
