Christmas Card Competition Winners 2015

For anyone who is not feeling the Christmas spirit yet this Christmas, Armagh Planetarium is definitely the place you will find it! We held our 5th annual Christmas Card Competition this year at Armagh Planetarium and we were astounded by the response from the schools across Northern Ireland and beyond! We had the most entries we have ever received stacking well over 2000 from more than 35 schools proving that the Christmas cheer is well and truly here! And we wonтАЩt deprive anyone of these amazing, festive and unique designs as they are all up on display here at the Planetarium!

There have been so many fantastic entries this year that the judges have struggled to pick the winners, so in the spirit of Christmas we now have four overall winners that have won a trip for their class to come to the planetarium and 28 runners up who have each won an individual family pass to visit the planetarium!

Below are the four class trip winners who really used their creativity and imagination to create beautiful Christmas card designs! We believe you will love them as much as we do and it may even inspire our readers to follow suit and create their own handmade space Christmas cards this year, adding that personal touch to the festive season.
