Welcome to Apache Point Observatory (APO).
To ensure your safety, this guide provides information and support in
using APO's equipment and facilities
This guide is divided into sections
allowing easy access to specific information:
BE OUR
GUEST... accommodations and a summary of
available site and community services
EMERGENCIES... essential to read if staying on
site
FACILITIES... information regarding each building
and work area
SAFETY... review of general
and site-specific items. Additional safety information available in APO Site Safety Plan.
Arrange with the Computer
Systems Manager for computer
passwords, network accounts, and software training.
If the general public requests entry, advise them APO
buildings are not accessible and they are welcome to tour the grounds. Information
brochures are available at the lower parking lot.
