Known problems on release of 7.0:


The serial port is "hard coded" by defining TELSERIAL in tel.h and xmtel1.h .
There is no provision for changing it prefs.tel .

Slew limit control to protect the telescope and hardware is not fully
implemented in software. This system is not recommended for unattended
operation unless reliable hardware safety limits are in place.

We use a tilt switch on the OTA and mechanical limit switches on the RA axis on
some mounts to prevent motions that would go beyond safe limits.

Beta versions of the protocols for the CDK700 and for the Paramount where
the vendors programs run in a local virtual Windows machine are
developmental and subject to incremental updates or restructuring as needed.
