Ukrainian-Polish centre of science and culture in V.N. Karazin Kharkov National University was created by the decision of University Scientific Council on April 26 2010 for attainment of the following goals:

1. establishing and development of fruitful academic relations between KhNU and science-educational, business and cultural institutions of Polish Republic;
2. promotion of the integration of classic universities and other educational and scientific institutes into the structures of European educational space;
3. initiation and all-round support of joint projects in the field of education development and academic exchange;
4. realization of advanced language training for the students and academic staff for further participation in joint projects with Polish partners;
5. support of mutually beneficial advancement of practically oriented projects in different fields of science and technology, of public, economic and cultural development.
