Grammar: The Prepositional case (denoting the place of an action; object of speech or thought; time; clothes; transport). Lexical topic: My city. Theme 5. Grammar: The Accusative case. Verb aspects. Annotation of the Discipline 1 2 Title of the course Description and the objectives of the course "Russian for Foreigners (Introductory, Basic)" This course's main goal is to guide students towards basic communicative competence in Russian. The focus is to further strengthen listening, speaking, reading, writing, and communication skills. The course integrates language learning with interactive tasks that enhance communication and comprehension skills. Students will learn basic vocabulary that is needed in real life communication situations while living in Ukraine. This course combines lectures with student conversations and dialogue games. Topical Course Outline The alphabet, learning to read and write; Oral pronunciation, listening comprehension and basic vocabulary; Naming things (body parts, classroom materials, and everyday items); Accumulation of vocabulary related to everyday life in Ukraine; Basic greeting, simple questions, formal and informal speech; Verbs in present, past and future tense, verbs aspects, adjectives, adverbs, nouns, pronouns and conjunctions; Conversation practice;
