A one-day Star Formation
Workshop, organized by Michael Smith, was held at the Observatory on 19
June 2003, to share ideas and expose new results to the critical attention
of others in the field. Visitors from New York, Armenia, Heidelberg and
Dublin presented a range of talks on observation and theory. Several talks
were contributed by Armagh astronomers and the workshop was well attended
by students and staff not working in the field.
