1) Purpose of this FAQ

After seeing many requests for the locations of various shareware rpg's,
I put this list together. All the ftp sites/directories listed below
have been verified recently.

2) List of RPG's (Description & Location)

An 'X' next to an ftp site/directory means that I did not find the
RPG at that site or could not access it. A '?' means that I have
been told the RPG is available at this location, but I have not been
able to verify whether or not it actually exists.

2.1) Aethra (aethra.zip, aethra.txt)

Party. Nice range of items and spells (must register to get spell list).
Good graphics, though small. Some minor NPC interaction at crucial
points. Interesting story. Very professional appearance.

4) Author's Notes

This version of the FAQ is specifically for the game authors.

I have intentionally left out all Rogue-derived games (I'm sure that info
is available in the newsgroups devoted to Rogue and Hack).

If I get enough positive feedback (and input), I'll upload this FAQ
to a few of the ftp sites listed above and post an occasional "Pointer
to FAQ: Shareware RPG's" message in comp.sys.ibm.pc.games.rpg newgroup.
